Stitch Maynia: Day 28 A Cozy Table for Two

Day 28: HAED's A Cozy Table for Two. I am really starting to love parking!

This is what it will look like when it is finished.  This is the original artwork of Mikki Senkarik.

My start on Mikki Senkarik's A Cozy Table for Two! I am really enjoying parking and the speed it adds to my stitching. The first photo was 800 stitches the first page row (large format) all done in my sons long 3 hour nap! This is done continental tent stitch 2 over 1 on 28 count.

Here is more progress on this design...

I have started in the top left corner of the design, and I can't wait until I can work on this again!  Until the next time...Happy Stitching!

Stitch Maynia: Day 20 Rainbow Eye

Day 20: Rainbow Eye by Love Thy Thread.

This is my first time using Magic Guide 25 count, second time parking and I am hooked because the second hundred stitches went so much faster than the first hundred!  I really was drawn to the rainbow colors in the eye makeup of this design.  I haven't stitched on it again since I started it on May 20th.  Since the count is so small I am doing this in tent stitch with 2 strands one over one.

See you soon...Happy Stitching!

Stitch Maynia: Day 14 Lingering Dream

Day 14: Lingering Dream by HAED. This is based on the artwork of Ida Larsen below.

Here is my start!  I am stitching tent stitch one over one on 32 count evenweave.  This will be the largest full coverage design I have ever stitched coming out to 19 1/2" by 19 1/2" when it is completed.

This was my first time parking EVER but I think I got the hang of it...except I have to frog all 200 stitches because I started on the wrong edge of the fabric! At least now with parking I know it will stitch up quicker.

I have been working on this one quite a bit and have made good progress but I plan to share the updates in another post.

Stay tuned...Happy Stitching!
